A petition was initiated by one of ENUSP members in Norway. The aim of the petition is to urge Norway  immediately discontinue practices of forced treatment/hospitalization and reform laws allowing for deprivation of liberty and forced treatment on the basis of disabilities by replacing these practices with services that meet needs expressed by persons with disabilities and respect the autonomy, choices, dignity and privacy. Text of the petition is available here.

European Network of (Ex-)Users and Survivors of Psychiatry

ENUSP gives users and survivors of psychiatric services across Europe a way to communicate so that we can support one other in the personal, political, and social struggle against injustice and discrimination.

We are the only grassroots umbrella organization working across Europe to unite local and national organizations of (ex-) users and survivors of psychiatry.

We directly represent the views of people who are or have been on the receiving end of psychiatric services.
