A national user/survivor organisation with 180 members.
Purpose: to defend the rights and interests of mentally ill people in the Czech Republic.
Main activities: Patients, Trustees and Advocates in psychiatric hospitals and psychiatric wards of general hospitals; Rehabilitative Computer Classroom for mental health care users in Prague; Art exhibitions of people with mental illness; Rehabilitative Stays for people with mental illness; and Kolumbus member’ Development and Monitoring of Community Planning for mental health care.
One of the main projects is Patients, Trustees and Advocates – Monitoring and Protection of Human Rights of Patients Hospitalized in Psychiatric Hospitals. This project was awarded the SocialMarie 2011.
