Objectives and aims
Vision
UilenSpiegel wants demand-driven care with respect for human rights and where humanity stands central.
UilenSpiegel aims for a world where people with a psychological vulnerability reach full
development, where they can use their strengths and fulfill a role in which they can prosper.
A world where there is no more taboo on psychological problems.
Mission
UilenSpiegel is an association for people with a psychological vulnerability, with life
difficulties, for people with special psychic experiences and for those who declare their
solidarity with the interests of this group.
UilenSpiegel aims to improve mental health care and society in general and
wants to increase the well-being of people with a psychological vulnerability. It does this by
offering opportunities for meeting between fellow sufferers, providing information,
promoting their participation at all levels of society, sensitizing them and looking after their
interests, including in relation to legal protection.
UilenSpiegel emphasizes the importance of contact with fellow patients, the need to break
through the taboo and stigma surrounding psychological vulnerability and the importance of
the role that experiential experts can have in achieving their goals.
UilenSpiegel is open to every life vision and wants to enter into partnerships with
organizations that pursue similar objectives.
