National organization with 2000 members, additionally 25000 members are virtual.
Objectives and aims:
-To represent and fight for the interests of users in the government policies at national, regional and local level.
-To create a network which will engage and support the wide diversity of mental health service users and survivors across Spain in order to strengthen the user voice.
-To develop and perform educational tools, especially through educational courses for users. Also to fight stigma and discrimination through courses, seminars, etc. to professionals (medical, social, students). Always having focus on the UN CRPD.
-To fight stigma and discrimination and break down discrimination against mental health users.
-Research and investigation projects, especially on the Media and stigma and discrimitation.
-To be a link between EU and Spain policies and activities
